During their international internship, IB students are expected to describe, reflect and share their own international/intercultural managerial experiences with other students. The whole process is monitored by an academic supervisor.

A la fin de cette unité d’enseignement, l’étudiant est capable de :

1 During their programme, students of the LSM Master's in management or Master's in Business engineering will have developed the following capabilities'
6.1 Work in a team :Join in and collaborate with team members. Be open and take into consideration the different points of view and ways of thinking, manage differences and conflicts constructively, accept diversity.
6.2 Exercise enlightened leadership skills : unite and motivate different team members, identify, draw on and develop their skills and talents, guide them to wards archieving a common goal, while adapting to time constraints and the changing environment.
7.1 Analyse a project within its environment and define the expected outcomes : identify what is at stake, the required outcomes and the environmental constraints; clearly define the project objectives and associate the performance indicators.
7.2 Organize, manage and control the process : structure andschedule the tasks, identify and allocate human and material resources, coordinate, delegate and supervise the tasks; take into account the anticipated constraints andrisks
7.3 Make decisions and take responsibility for them in an uncertain world : take initiatives and act, anticipate and be proactive, show discernment and good judgment and be prepared to make quick decisions, taking into account multiple factors and uncertainties; accept the risks and consequences of  decisions.
 
Contenu
Les étudiants IB décrivent, réfléchissent sur, et partagent avec d'autres étudiants leur propre expérience internationale/interculturelle acquise dans le cadre de leur stage IB. Le processus est encadré par un coordinateur académique.
Méthodes d'enseignement
Pendant leur stage, les étudiants IB devront rendre différents travaux sur l'espace Moodle dédié au "International internship with coaching".
Modes d'évaluation
des acquis des étudiants
Le cours "LSMSD2916" mène à une note (10 ECTS) si les conditions suivantes sont remplies:
  • il y a une "convention de stage LSM" qui est valide et signée par toutes les parties dans le délai imparti;
  • les conditions de stage (ex: durée, localisation) sont respectées;
  • le tuteur entreprise a rempli la grille d'évaluation du stage, et cette grille a été déposée sur Moodle.
Si le stage n'a pas été validé (une des conditions ci-dessus n'est pas remplie), l'étudiant obtient une note de zéro sur 20.
Si le stage a été validé, la note finale se construit de la manière suivante:
  • Apprentissage continu (14 points): Quand tous les travaux sur Moodle ont été correctement réalisés et postés ou encodés à temps, l'étudiant obtient 14 points. Si un travail n'a pas été réalisé correctement, posté correctement ou encodé à temps, il y a une pénalité de 2 points. Le total des pénalités ne peut pas excéder 14 points.
  • Rapport individuel (6 points): L'enseignant donne un score sur 6 points, en fonction des critères suivants: (1) clarté, et (2) caractère convaincant de l'argumentation.
