Gaël Rouvroy obtained the Electronics and Mechanics Engineering degree and PhD degree from the Université catholique de Louvain, respectively in June 2001 and June 2004. In 2004, he received a 3-year funding for research and business development. In 2006, he was the co-founder of intoPIX Spin-Off, specialized in Digital Cinema market. As intoPIX CTO, his reponsability is to define and manage R&D projects. His research interest includes digital design and FPGA, cryptographic hardware, block ciphers, image processing (broadcast and DCI JPEG2000 decoder) and watermarking.
