I obtained a Ph.D. in cryptography at the Université catholique de Louvain in January 2013, under the supervision of Olivier Pereira. My research work in the UCL Crypto Group was funded by the SCOOP Action de Recherche Concertée.
After a period as a post-doctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), I am currently a Lecturer at Bournemouth University (UK).

Ph.D. Thesis: Unconditional Secure Cooperation on Real-World Networks: the Case of Oblivious Transfer
Synopsis: Secure computation between mutually distrusting parties can not be achieved using an error-free communication medium, if we assume that adversaries have unlimited computational capabilities. However, secure multi-party computation becomes possible when a noisy channel is available. For instance, Oblivious Transfer, a fundamental primitive in cryptography, has been implemented for the first time on the Binary Symmetric Channel. My research work is aimed at modeling real-world noise sources into noisy channels, and developing secure computation protocols with low sensitivity to the channel characteristics, in order to make the actual implementation of secure computation a more realistic prospect for the future.
