Kashif Nawaz

Kashif Nawaz obtained his B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) degree in Electronics and Communication from VTU University, India in 2010. Following a year working with Accenture as a Software Engineer, he completed his M.Sc. from Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany in 2014 with emphasis on Integrated Circuit design and electronics. He worked for a year at the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED) on SRAM based PUFs. Following this, he worked as an Engineering Intern at Analog Devices, India in the Analog/RF design group for a medical body area network design project. From Dec'2015, he is a PhD student in the UCL Crypto group working with Prof Denis Flandre and Prof FX Standaert in the area of nanoelectronics for cryptography. His research interests include noise analysis and IC design for cryptographic implementations. When not thinking about crypto, he likes to travel, cook and play Football.
