The course is dedicated to the in-depth analyse of several texts, from both the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, focusing on a topic chosen every year.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

At the end of the formation, students :

  • will be able to practise a critical text analysis;
  • will have gained an in-depth knowledge of poetical and rhetorical devices of literary texts;
  • will be able to comprehend the continuities and disruptions within the use of these devices from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
