The course discusses specific issues and problems of interpretation related to the reconstruction of lifestyles and ways of thinking of the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic societies (from origins to the 3rd millennium BC).
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

Advanced training for archaeologists specializing in European prehistory. Develop critical thinking, analysis of material culture and human remains in order to understand the means of reconstruction methods of the periods before writing, including through theoretical and anthropological concepts (physical and cultural anthropology ) in archaeological interpretation.

Content
A new topic is discussed each year.
Teaching methods
The sessions will be prepared by the students, based on the reading of one or more articles of which the list twill be published at the beginning of the year. The Evolutionary.

Oral examination at the end of the session (50 %), lecture by the student (seminars; 25 %) and personal taking part (25 %).
