Main themes
This course, to be taken in parallel with LGLOR1142, deals with following issues :
1. The essential rules and structures of Latin syntax, in particular adverbial clauses;
2. A personal analysis and translation of a Latin text (cursory reading).
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

At the end of this course, the student will have mastered the essential rules of the verbal syntax of classical Latin. He will also be capable of translating and analysing Latin prose texts of reduced difficulty, and to translate from French into Latin (elementary level).
