In particular, the differences between the standard language and so-called neo-standard, which is in the process of establishing itself, will be analysed. We will cover the freedom of word order in Italian as well as new developments in modes, in the use of verb tenses and in the sequence of tenses.
In the practicals we will review standard grammar, especially verb forms of regular and irregular verbs, verb valency, and the sequence of tenses in standard Italian
