For French speaking students
(a) Self-learning via the Moodle platform (videos and readings followed by tests)
(b) Some face-to-face seminar sessions can be added
For students who speak only English, the seminar on Moodle is replaced by an individual work of

Evaluation methods
Despite the seminar is scheduled in the program during the second "year" of the master, it actually opens sooner, during the first year, and remains accessible until the end of the second year. It contains "mandatory lessons and tests" & "optional lessons and tests".
For French speaking students: the evaluation is only based on the mandatory tests (20-30) following each mandatory lesson (video, readings ...). These tests are progressively opened from February to June (every second week) and closes after 6 weeks: So students must actively follow the rhythm of the chapters. Mandatory lessons, optional lessons and optional tests remains opened during two year to give access to useful information during the master thesis writing.
For English speaking students: the evaluation is based on the paper written during the first year (due time: around April)
There is no second chance during the summer, but during the next year (February-June with the next cohort) which is still "on time" as the seminar is officially scheduled in the second year.

An information session on this seminar is given during the briefing of the annual master's thesis 1 of the master (induction week)
