Main themes
The historical approach to international relations is an essential way of understanding contemporary socio-political phenomena. 
Whether analysing international, universal or regional balances, or examining national foreign policies, taking into account their historical foundations is essential if we are to understand their constitutive dynamics and the processes that determine them.
