Main themes
Each course explores the history of techniques, the pathologies (investigations, analyses and diagnostics), and the techniques of conservation-restoration.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

Content
Analysis and diagnosis of damages and degradation.
Knowledge of traditional building materials and their implementation.
Traditional and new conservation-restoration techniques.
Teaching methods
Lectures, workshops, conferences, contacts with artisan-restorers and practical exercises.
Evaluation methods
Written and/or oral exam evaluated by a jury.
