The master's thesis is an important landmark of the curriculum because it demands from the student a personal research production. It enables the student to develop and demonstrate one's ability to master a full research process: drafting working hypotheses, implementing relevant methods and methodologies, analyzing and adequately interpreting collected data in light of relevant theories, writing and presenting the results that stem from this entire research process. The master's thesis is therefore the final and the main achievement of the master. It demands the mobilization of all methodological and heuristic tools to conduct a research. The master's thesis must demonstrate a capacity to summarize and of reflection and should focus on well-defined research questions.
The first part of the master's thesis is the writing of the research design of the project.
All the information and guidelines relating to the master's thesis are given in the vade mecum (in French only).
