This course reviews the prerequisites in mathematics for the courses of the certificates and masters in statistics. 
On particular, fundamental concepts of combinatory analysis, matrix algebra, analysis of single and multiple variables functions (including limits, derivatives and integrals). 
Teaching methods
Formal lectures and exercices sessions
Evaluation methods
Written exam - 2 hours - closed book - Form with formula and simple calculator allowed.
Theoretical questions and exercices.
One (non-mandatory) dispensatory evaluation at the beginning of the course and one (mandatory)  evaluation test organised at the end of the course.
