Theoretical introduction on methods specific to literary and theatrical studies and the contributions of affine sciences. Discussion on the stakes and conditions of validity of interdisciplinary and intermedial approaches.

On this basis, the course focuses in particular on the dimensions of identification, perception and sublimation.

Conceptual discussion is based on the preliminary reading of theoretical texts, literary texts or theatrical plays and on attending  performances or watching video recordings  of plays

Lecture based on preparatory readings. The inductive method promotes interaction with students.
