The course of lessons studies, with both theoretical and practical point of view, in a formula which tends to be interactive : I. GENERAL PART 1°. The problem of private international law; 2°. Sources of the notary private international law; 3°. The notary in the international relations; 4°. The method of private international law. II. SPECIAL PART Principal solutions of substantive law, and in particular: FAMILY LAW 1°. Capacity and protection of incapables; 2°. Name and first names; 3°. Absence; 4°. Marriage and cohabitation; 5°. Divorce and separation; 6°. Filiation; 7°. Maintenance obligations; 8°. Matrimonial regimes; 9°. Inheritance. BUSINESSES LAW 1°. Assets, obligations, trusts; 2°. Company law; 3°. Insolvency.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 The teaching aims to give the students the tools, as well theoretical as practical, which will enable them to include/understand, analyze and solve the difficulties related to the private international relations, interesting particularly the notary activity. From this point of view, it aims at the same time : 1°. to complete the competence acquired, by analyzing further in a specifically notary dimension the general concepts which were already seen in the Master of Law, and by presenting the particular instruments specific to the notary matter, which were not yet studied; 2°. to give to the matter a more practical lighting, by using the method of the cases or by the use of practical examples, leading eventually to the presentation of the contents of foreign law (lighting of comparative law).
