Special emphasis is put on issues which allow (1) choosing adequate diagnostic tools, (2) critically interpreting a patient's profile in relation to theoretical models, (3) writing a neuropsychological report and (4) identifying the relevant type of intervention for a given patient as well as the means to verify the effectiveness of the intervention.

- Analyze the profile of performance of a patient on classic neuropsychological tests in relation to a cognition model (A1 and A2)
- Present the results of neuropsychological tests in a neuropsychological report by following the conventional writing format (C1 and C2)
- Propose intervention options which are in line with the patient's profile (B1 and secondarily B2 and B3)
In addition, group work on a clinical vignette and the administration of neuropsychological tests will reinforce the following competences:
- Interacting efficiently with peers (D1, D2, D3)
- Acting as a university psychologist in a rigorous, deontological and ethical manner (E1, E2, E3)
Finally, self-learning opportunities will allow the student to assess and increase his/her professionalism and competences (F1 and F2).
Module 1: Introduction to Rehabilitation. This module introduces the different components of neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Module 2: Evaluation. This module presents the different components of a neuropsychological assessment and familiarizes the student with the administration and correction of classic neuropsychological tests.
Module 3. Rehabilitation techniques. This module familiarizes the student with various neuropsychological rehabilitation techniques.

Module 2: Activities include group sessions and self-study materials and exercises.
Module 3: The module consists of group work in which students critically examine and present the effectiveness of different types of neuropsychological interventions.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.Continuous evaluation:
(1) Demonstration of ability to administer neuropsychological tests during a practical session (pass or fail).
(2) an oral group presentation on a neuropsychological management technique during a plenary session (score out of 20 counting for 50% of the overall score, less than 10/20 is considered a failure).
Evaluation in the first session:
(3) Written examination (multiple choice question) on the correction and interpretation of neuropsychological test results (score out of 20 counting for 50% of the global score, less than 10/20 is considered a fail).
In case of failure for one of the three parts, the overall mark will be divided by 2 (e.g. 14/20 = 7/20). In case of success in only one or two parts of the course, the marks of the passed parts will be carried over to the August/September session. So students do not have to re-sit parts that were passed.
If a student fails part (1), he or she will be required to demonstrate proficiency in administrating the tests in the August/September session.
If a student fails part (2), he or she will be required to submit an individual assignment by the first day of the August/September session at the latest.
If a student fails part (3), he or she will have to retake a similar written exam during the August/September session.
