Teaching methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

During the internship, the student benefits from the support of a tutor who, within the host institution, ensures that the planned activities run smoothly. At UCLouvain, the student is under the responsibility of the person in charge of the internships. Before the start of the internship, an agreement is signed between the three parties, with the person in charge of internships at UCLouvain checking in particular whether the place of internship and the tasks to be carried out correspond to the learning outcomes.
Evaluation methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

The evaluation is based on the evaluation document filled in by the company tutor and on the internship report prepared by the student. The latter includes:
- A descriptive part including an analysis of the host organisation, an analysis and description of the trainee's work and an assessment of the methodological, scientific and professional contribution of the internship;
- An analytical part addressing a more specific issue tackled  during the internship and drafted on the base of the specialized literature in order to apply what has been studied during the university courses.
