Content
The content varies from one year to another, and focuses on four to six texts of modern and contemporary theatre, from the Lumière brothers to the present day.

The texts are chosen and studied each year with reference to a specific theme. Examples in recent years have included the idea of the 'intimate theatre', comic writing, the dramaturgy of Huis Clos, nomadism, the parable, etc.

This year, the course will deal with the dramaturgy of the couple. From Ibsen and Strindberg to Sarah Kane and Lars Norén, the couple has been a field of experiment for different types of crisis. Crisis of the dramatic language, of the self and the other, of the intimacy and the world. We'll study the various configurations of such borderline cases.
