    •  Foreign direct investments
    •  Standards and interoperability
    •  Fiscal challenges 
  • The shift in the balance of global economic power and its impact on economic governance 
    • Emerging economies 
    • The 2008 crisis
    • The multilateral trading system at stake 
    • Rising protectionisms and nationalisms
The governance of the financial economy
  • The fall of the Bretton Woods system and the financial deregulation 
  •  The 2008 financial crisis: a return to regulation? What actors? What impacts? 
The course will be underpinned by various case studies
