In order to achieve these ends, the lectures will treat a general problem or a particular question concerning the image of women and men and their specific role in connection with religions.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 - explain the notion of gender, its origin, evolution and pertinence ;
 
2 - understand what is at stake in this notion in the fields of anthropology, ethics, history, society and religion ;
 
3 - particularly, to understand and analyse the impact of gender on religions and of religions on gender.
