The objective of the terrestrial ecology internship is to develop an experimental methodology in the field based on a hypothesis put forward by the students themselves.
In one week, in groups, students develop a protocol to test their hypothesis, collect data, analyze it and produce a synthesis in the form of an oral presentation. The subjects potentially address all fields of ecology with an evolutionary approach.
Teaching methods
One week field course with overnight stays, usually outside Belgium.
Evaluation methods
Presentation of a synthesis work in the form of an oral presentation.
The evaluation will focus on the group work, the methodology used, the quality of the hypotheses, the data collection, the analysis of the results and their discussion.
