Content : The book and its techniques, from manuscripts to printed works. Description of the techniques of bookmaking and publishing. A study about the reading and the circulation of books.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 To bring the students to think about the book as a material object.
 
Content
The object-book, reading and writing are approached from a perspective that combines a historical perspective, a sociology of fiction and various motifs (pharmakon, autobiobibliography, sexual difference, education, sexual pleasure, madness, etc.).

Method: Lecture.
Evaluation methods
Essay on a reading scene in a fictional text and in a work of art.
