Notions of History of Philosophy and in particular an initiation to phenomenolgy as well as notions of philosophical anthropology.
Main themes
The theme of the course changes each year.
Each year anthropological questions will be pursued through the works of major authors of contemporary and modern philosophers.
The course wil be concerned with examining what philosophical issues are at stake and how those texts can be interpretated today.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 gain comprehensive understanding with regard to a particular problem in philosophical anthropology;
 
2 grasp the interdisciplinary aspects of the problem;
 
3 relate the data associated with the problem to contemporary scientific developments.
