He will be able to imagine, plan and give courses in ancient languages (Latin and Greek) in the lower  and upper secondary, and to adapt to different professional situations in various school environments with positive interaction with his supervisor.

Content
The teacher-training of 50 hours is aimed at students in Ancient languages and literatures and is divided into three parts:
1. Periods of observation and analysis of teaching methods (10 hours), which will encourage the student to project himself/herself in the situation of giving class by meeting his/her future pupils and supervisor;
2. Teaching training in practice (40 hours), where the student creates his/her own lessons by applying the pedagogical methods explained in the main course, guided by a supervisor approved by UCLouvain;
3. Teaching lessons in public.
Teaching methods
The student will select his/her supervisors (at least three, in three different schools) from a list of supervisors approved by UCLouvain. He/She will find agreements with them about the planification of the observation periods and the active lessons.
The student may structure his teacher-training according to his/her personal interests, while conserving a balance between Latin and Greek, as well as between the three levels of secondary education.
At the end of each period of training, the student will prepare a written activity report where he/she will consider his/her pedagogical methods.: these written reports will form the half part of the evaluation of the course LGLOR2550.
Evaluation methods
The supervisor will evaluate each teaching training according to a common template for all students including criteria and indicators, realised in collaboration with the supervisors, the teaching advisers and the academic supervisor.
