Main themes
The seminar discusses specific problems related to the interpretation of contemporary art including the functions of art in certain institutional and social contexts.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 The course will deepen the knowledge about the production and the aesthetic concepts in contemporary art.
It is the aim of the seminar that the student develops a critical sense and analytical methods as well as the ability to deal with a specific subject in contemporary art.
 
Content
The students will work on a topics related to the conception and organisation of the exhibition "The Grid. L'art passé au crible" at Musée L.
Teaching methods
Group work  + oral presentations 

 
Evaluation methods
The students are evaluated on the basis of their active participation, a presentation, and a paper on a specific subject.
Other information
An information session will be held on Monday, 7 December 2020, from 11 to 12 am, c211 (FIAL).
