The main objectives of this course will be to question current issues around the couple and sexuality in particular:
- The place of sexuality;
- How to approach sexuality with couples and identify sexual dysfunctions;
- Infidelity and its consequences;
- Couple and reproduction (Medically assisted reproduction, reproductive coercion;
- The place, representations and different configurations of the couple in contemporary society.
- The couple and new technologies (dating sites and applications, online sexuality, cyber-infidelity, etc.).
- Life cycles and their impact on the adaptation of the couple.
Teaching methods
The course will be delivered either face-to-face and/or by Teams depending on the evolution of the pandemic
Each lecturer will bring a specific perspective on issues related to conjugality. The methods used are designed to encourage clinical reflection:
- Interactive lectures with discussion space
- Individual and/or group reading of articles
- Analysis of clinical cases
- Videos
- group activities
Evaluation methods
The evaluation will consist of a written assignment in order to encourage students' clinical reflection.
Other information
- This course requires active presence and participation of the students;
- The course is given in French on Fridays from 14:00 to 16:00 in Q2;
- The written work to be handed in for the evaluation can be done in French or in English
