Science and Christian faith
The course offers the opportunity to carry out an interdisciplinary experience, required by the questioning envisaged. A philosopher of science, prof. Dominique Lambert (UNamur) and a theologian, prof. Benoît Bourgine (UCLouvain), will intervene to try to clarify the problematic of the relationship between science and Christian faith.
A typology of the modes of dialogue and confrontation between sciences and theologies is to be elaborated and tested in order to draw the limits, the scope and the philosophical and theological foundations.
A historical perspective and a presentation of contemporary issues will be proposed.
