1. Scientific representation: models, theories, idealization.
2. Philosophical reflection on determinism and probabilities.
3. Modern conception of probability: axiomatisation, origins, conditional probability, central limit theorem.
4. Modelling causality in social sciences.
5. Philosophical theories of causality.
6. Causality and explanation.
