Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

- Target Skills On completing this Unit students should: - Possess a command of the theory and practice of the languages studied and be able to use this expertise in the field of translation; - Possess strong intercultural awareness enabling them to understand, analyse and contextualise translation tasks; - Have the ability to use and expand discipline-specific knowledge; - Have the ability to use the body of theoretical and practical know-how that is specific to translation and interpretation.

Content

- Q 1: Oral expression work and oral comprehension exercises based on the basic disciplinary vocabulary studied in MLE (Level A1-A2).
(sich vorstellen, Aussehen und Charakter, Umwelt, Welt der Gefühle…)

- Q 2: Oral expression work and oral comprehension exercises in the language laboratory based on the disciplinary vocabulary studied in MLE (Level B1).
(die Suche nach Glück, Probleme der Jugend, der Zustand unseres Planeten…). Phonetics exercises are used to strengthen students' oral expression and comprehension skills.

Individual preparations to the course online. Face-to-face teaching. Active participation highly recommended.
