Main themes
Regarding the substance of the course, the course will be commenting on the legal foundations of environmental, climate and health policies. It shall discuss the nature and the scope of EU environmental principles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkxRDUmhTXc&t=12s
As far as secondary law is concerned, the course will cover topics as diverse as the circular economy, the CAP, climate change and nature conservation. Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 The lectures purpose is to assess the ways in which the EC lawmaker has been enhancing the status of environmental and health protection.
 
Content
Unlike other ex cathedra courses, this course on EU sectoral environmental and health policies is deemed to be much more interactive because of the seriousness of the ecological crisis. The aim is to provide you with food for thought about the reforms underway as part of the European Green Deal. In my capacity as a university Professor (professor ordinarius), I closely follow the implementation of the Green Deal. I also hold the third Jean Monnet Chair in this area https://tradevenvironment.eu/
Evaluation methods
A quarter of the points will be devoted to your participation in the course. ¾ of the points will be devoted to the presentation of an eight- to ten-page paper. The papers will be presented and discussed during the last lecture.  
If you are unable to attend the lectures or unwilling to take part in the discussion, it would be preferable not to enroll.
