Content
This course provides a solid foundation in English syntax and stylistics.
Teaching methods
Combination of lectures and exercise sessions.
Evaluation methods
In this course, students are assessed in two ways:
- Active participation in the activities proposed on Moodle (quizzes/exercises): 10% of the final grade.
- Online written exam on Moodle in June and/or September: 90% of the final grade.
As we are aiming to train language specialists, particular attention will be paid to language accuracy in the assignments and exams related to the course. For the same reason, the use of generative artificial intelligence is not allowed for any parts of the evaluation.
In the case of resits (August/September exam session), students will have to retake an online written exam and complete the Moodle activities not performed during the academic year.
