Content
The aim of the course is to teach students the documentary acquisition process which is essential to any specialized translation/interpretation project and to introduce students to the use of corpora and concordancers (SketchEngine©) as CAT/CAI tools.

Lectures and exercise sessions.
Evaluation methods
January and August/September exam sessions: written exam (50%) and written paper (50%). Practical details of the written paper will be communicated during the term.
The written paper is personal and reflects the skills acquired. The use of artificial intelligence and machine translation is prohibited. The sources used must be adequately acknowledged. Any irregularity, such as the use of automatic translation software or programmes, the drafting of work by third parties, plagiarism, etc. will be penalised in accordance with the "Règlement général des études et des examens".
In case of a fail grade, only the part failed during the January session (written exam and/or written paper) will be the subject of the August/September session. In case of an unjustified absence at one of the two parts, students will have to retake the two parts during the August/September exam session.
