At the end of this course, the student will be able: - to develop a critical reading of the Gospels on the basis of a general knowledge of this literature; - to account for the different theologies of each gospel; - to account for the pragmatic dimension of the relationship between the text and the reader. |

The principal object of the course will be to provide a comprehensive introduction to the Gospel according to John. The continuous reading of the Gospel will be on the program through guided exercises.

An oral examination on a pericope of the gospel (details to be clarified during the course)

It is highly recommended to have already completed the Introduction to the Bible course (NT modules, introduction to the working tools, theology).
