The main objectives of the course are to
In this way, at the end of this course, the student will be able to understand and analyze globally the functioning of operations within a manufacturing company and to propose changes.
- Introduce the basic concepts of operations management
- Present a frame of reference structuring the management functions
- Introduce to the techniques, methods and tools used at the different levels of analysis and decision-making
- Illustrate the different interactions of the functions making up the management of operations between themselves and with the other management functions of the company
- Be able to apply the concepts and methods seen during production to a case study close to a real production case

Written examination and realization of a group work corresponding to the modeling and the resolution by means of the Excel solver of a practical case of production”.
Two Teams sessions will be organized outside the course volume to answer students' questions on the formulation of the case (session 1) and the resolution of the model (session 2).
For the evaluation of the subject, 25% of the exam mark will be made up of the mark obtained in the group work.
