Principal themes required to achieve the course goals :
- relationships between human physiological capacity, morphological factors and work load;
- relationships between work load and pathologies, in terms of risk factors as well as pathology;
- methods of risk management in the factory;
- the role of movement in preventing stress and work-related injuries;
- the role of the physiotherapist in working environnement ;
- the legal frame to protect workers in Belgium and EU.
Examples from real situations will be used.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | The student will study the relationship between Man and his working conditions. Specific topics include risk management (e.g. identification, adaptation, prevention of health risks), physiological and morphological factors involved in the health of humans in the workspace. |
