On completion of this teaching unit, the student is able to analyse a professional production according to the accessibility criteria that apply.
 
Content
The "Audiovisual Translation: Specialised Techniques" course will look at how audiovisual media is made accessible to foreign viewers (subtitling, surtitling) and viewers with hearing or visual loss (subtitles for the deaf or hard-of-hearing and audiodescription). The theoretical elements will provide the necessary background to the practical exercises, using EZTitles© software mainly, which will be commented and corrected by the lecturer.
