Content
30 hours: This course explores contemporary themes in Hispanic cultures and societies from a theoretical perspective and analyses cultural productions in different media.
In particular, the course includes themes such as historical memory, migration, postcolonialism, gender identities, ethnicity and taboos in the contemporary Hispanic world.

Teaching methods
Classroom lecture entirely in Spanish, illustrated by audiovisual (video documentaries or podcasts) and textual material.
- Analysis of various cultural productions.
- Interactive activities.
- Guided writing of a research paper on a freely chosen theme related to the programme.
Evaluation methods
In order to obtain the credits associated with a course, the student must take all parts of the examination relating to the course (whether they relate to learning activities - LAs - or course parts).
40% Research paper (due before the end of the lectures, date to be confirmed)
NB: The research paper must be the result of one's own intellectual effort. The use of generative AI and automatic translation tools is not permitted, nor is the correction of the research paper by native speakers of Spanish. In all cases, the use of any technology will be done responsibly and in accordance with the practices of academic and scientific integrity and will therefore be systematically indicated by the student. All sources must be properly cited.

- Evaluated elements: choice of topic, structure, linguistic aspects, format, well-chosen and well-cited sources.
- Evaluated elements: linguistic aspects (pronunciation, intonation, grammar), theoretical content (knowledge and specific vocabulary), oral interaction (fluency).
