Students complete an internship as part of activity LCOMU2902 - Internship dissertation (15 ECTS). The dissertation and the work placement, although assessed separately, constitute the two components of the final mark. The internship, assessed on the basis of the internship report and the written opinion of the internship supervisor, accounts for one third of the mark, while the dissertation accounts for the remaining two thirds and is marked on the basis of the manuscript.
Students must work the equivalent of four weeks full-time (38 hours) at their placement. Their working time may be broken down in various ways (working full-time then part-time, spreading the placement over several months, interrupting the placement, etc.). The breakdown of the placement should be agreed with the placement supervisor and set out in detail in the placement project.
