Content
Study of forensic science, building on the bases acquired during the minor course. Emphasis will be placed on a critical vision of forensic science, both at the level of its application in a given legal framework, as well as at the level of its understanding and its application by its actors within this framework. An interdisciplinary approach will be emphasised, which will allow students to identify the axes of integration between criminology and forensic science, to understand and recognize the usefulness of forensic science to inform criminology and vice versa and evaluate its use.
Teaching methods
Through lectures and exercises, students will be able to familiarize themselves with the contribution of such integration to the scientific world.
The course will be organized around several group activities during which students present their work, discuss integration, present their criticism and give each other feedback.

Evaluation methods
The evalation is based on
- the group projects and their presentation that consists in a production of a critial canaliys of the use of forensic science or an integration approach of forensic science and criminology (30%), and
- an oral examen (70%).
