Content
The first part of the course is devoted to the ethical aspects of criminological professions. Three sectors of intervention and various issues will be encountered through readings and the broadcast of films or documentaries.
Teaching methods
The course is interactive. After introductory theory sessions, students will divide into thematic groups and prepare to facilitate the thematic sessions that will follow, with the construction and the elucidation of ethical dilemmas
Evaluation methods
Attendance at this course is required. In accordance with article 72 of the General Regulations for Studies and Examinations, the Professors may propose to the jury that a student who has at least three unjustified absences for the course, be refused registration for the June or September session.
The evaluation aims to measure the acquisition of the learning outcomes specified above.
For this course, students are assessed on the basis of a written examination (in French and open book) including one or more essay questions of equivalent weight (100% of the final mark).

Other information
Attendance is imperative at the first class, but also at all other sessions. This is due to the specific pedagogy, which will be presented during the first session during which choices will be made for the rest of the course, involving the students.
Students who already know that they will not be able to attend the first class or who have difficulties in ensuring regular attendance are asked to switch to another elective course.
