Content
The lecture offers an approach to the question of what characterises literary texts and how to read them. What is literature allowed to do that other types of texts are not? What distinguishes literature from all other types of text, how do we describe its specific features, its own style, its rules? Why is literature indispensable in social discourse, why does it expand and change perspectives? The introduction to the definition and description of literary texts offers a basic set of analytical tools for making academic statements about literary texts and recognising their particular style.
