According to the possibilities of the integrated service, the student will carry out or participate in the realization of potentially diverse tasks :
- evaluation, collection, acquisition of an archive fonds
- visit to a production department (for example, as part of training or an inspection audit)
- intellectual (and possibly material) treatment of a fonds
- participation in missions to enhance the value of the patrimony
- participation in welcoming and advising visitors
Teaching methods
The student will work in a private archives service and will benefit from the supervision of his or her internship supervisor (an archivist by training and by profession).
Evaluation methods
Depending on the general satisfaction of the company tutor, the student will submit a brief report (4-5 pages) and will make an oral presentation.

- a detailed analysis of the service: its framework, its missions, its functioning, etc.
- a critical and reflexive description of the tasks he has carried out or observed (analysis and diagnosis, proposal of possible alternatives)
- a reflection on the contributions of his training as a historian/archivist to professional practice
Other information
The work placement must be carried out in the academic year in which it is included in the student's annual programme.
