Content
This course aims in particular to develop communicative skills, but some advanced written activities are also proposed (for instance, writing news or reports on specific subjects, formal letters etc). Advanced vocabulary is presented (formal and informal usage of the language, typical expressions, word formation etc.). The course will also revise difficult language structures to be used during communicative activities. Information on culture and society will be often dealt with.
Teaching methods
The course especially aims to develop oral productive skills by using different activites: presentation of cultural issues and themes, discussions on current events, advanced role plays, presentations of facts and figures on current issues, advanced exercises on vocabulary and grammar etc. . Different typologies of authentic documents (as well written as audio-video) are presented in the class.
Some advanced written activities will be also integrated in the course, when possible.
The action-oriented approach is implicit, since all actions in the course itself will be carried out in Italian.

The assessment includes: 1) an oral interaction in small groups on topics previously indicated by the teacher; 2) the presentation of a topic related to the main cultural topic of the course; 3) a written test on the main language and grammar points presented during the course. (points distribution: 8 pts written test, 6 pts interaction, 6 pts présentation)
For the third session, the student will present the cultural subject of the Q1 (if not done yet) as well as a discussion topic of his/her own interested which will be discussed with the teacher.
