The seminar studies territorial politics from three main perspectives: first, how the polity of Western European nation-states has been affected by processes of regionalization; second, how policymaking and policy implementation are altered by regionalization; and, third, how politics within regionalized states reflects multilevel dynamics.
Teaching methods
This course is a seminar.
Evaluation methods
Grading will be based on (i) weekly reading assignments and related exercices (20% - continuous evaluation. The grade will carry over to the August session); (ii) a case-study presentation (20%); (iii) a research paper (60%).
