This bi-annual seminar (alternating with LGLOR2932) aims to explore classical Arabic literature on the basis of texts read in translation.
The texts chosen are intended to illustrate various aspects of this literature such as poetry (pre-Islamic and classical), adab, history, geography, philosophy and science, law and theology.
