Master in History [60.0] - HIST2M1

AnnéesTravail de fin d'étude

Retour en début de pageStudy objectives

The master 60 in History, which the Bachelor in History leads directly on to, aims to build on students' methodological and critical skills when it comes to detecting and implementing information and applying it more specifically to a period (ancient times, Middle Ages, modern times, contemporary period) or a field of history.

Unlike the master 120, which mixes together all specialisations, it does not include the methodological aspects of research (applied to a dissertation) and communication in history. End of study work (not accreditable in the case of later passage to a master 120) deals with addressing a question on a given subject, and does not involve resorting to first-hand sources.

Subject to prerequisites, this degree allows students who already hold a master to acquaint themselves with the methods and techniques of historical research.
