Students choosing the foundation minor in discipline aim to discover history of Art and archeology, a different discipline to that of the major, and understand its unique characteristics, its fundamental principles and its demands in the interests of openness and with a view to creating an approach that complements that of the discipline of the major in order to enhance the study of a problem.

On successful completion of this programme, each student is able to :

Min-0.1. Demonstrate the acquisition of a knowledge base in history of Art and archeology in order to grasp its/their specific features.


Min-0.2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic tools of the history of Art and archeology.


Min-0.3. Discover and incorporate the robustness required by history of Arts and archeology and display evidence of this incorporation.


Min-0.4. Discover a capacity for a line of reasoning specific to the history of Arts and archeology


Min-0.5. Identify the specific features of the hisory of Art and archeology and construct a reflective approach that complements that of the discipline of the major in order to enhance the study of a problem.
