Positioning of the programme within the University cursus 
The bachelor's degree gives direct access to the corresponding master's in French and Romance Languages and Letters : General (https://uclouvain.be/en-243690.html) and French as a second language.
Students also have direct access (no prerequisites) to the Masters in linguistics.
 
Other programmes accessible upon completion of the programme
This bachelor provides access to other masters at UCLouvain provided that the prerequisites outlined in the master's admission conditions are adhered to.
The bachelor student's minor may facilitate access to certain masters.

For example:
- the Minor in Dutch (30.0) and the Minor in German (30.0) gives students direct access to the Masters in Modern Languages
  and Letters: General (120) and the Masters in Multilingual Communication (120).
- The minor in Latin (30.0) allows students to pursue a Masters in Modern and Ancient Languages and Letters(120.0)
  provided that prerequisites worth 15 credits are added.
