Using a fine-tuned BERT classifier\, we pro vide a context-aware and sentence-level measure of linguistic temporality and construct a document-level index capturing a balance of future versus past content. Our results show a negative relationship between future-orie nted language and the amount of funds raised\, whereas past-oriented langu age is associated with higher fundraising success. This relationship is co ntent and context dependent as future-oriented language credibility effect is stronger when operating in technology-rich white papers and in socio-i nstitutional environments that strengthen the credibility and verifiabilit y of forward-looking communication. We also document a reverse effect wher e future orientation predicts higher post-ICO token returns\, consistent w ith investor learning and signal revelation once claims become verifiable. Grounded in Peirce's triadic distinction be tween indexical\, iconic\, and symbolic sign relations\, findings reveal t hree distinct pathways through which tourists attribute human and gendered characteristics to places. Indexical processes operate through direct or observed contact with residents\, whose characteristics transfer onto the destination. Interstitial space is characterized by a place and time of interaction where individuals from different domains interact occa sionally and informally around shared activities to which they dedicate a limited amount of time (Furnari\, 2014\, p. 439). We consider interstitial space at the scale of the interstitial episode\, that is\, a bounded expo sure (time) generating recurring and differentiated interaction patterns s pecific to a meeting venue (place). Our analysis thus focuses on the micro -spatial description of how exposure to interstitial spaces supports cogni tive and relational shifts at the individual level.
