It explains how a variety of actors mobilize a collective around a “higher-order good”. However \, this literature relies on three assumptions that are rarely discussed: first\, that organizing entrepreneurial activity through an EE meets the n eeds of the territory\; second\, that the actors within a territory recogn ize themselves as part of a collective\; and third\, that a shared object of action is already available. This article focuses on a situation that i s common in ordinary territories yet remains under-documented\, namely whe re these conditions are not met\, reflecting an objective interdependence between actors that lacks intersubjective recognition.Our research questio n is as follows: how does a shared object of action emerge within an entre preneurial fabric\, prior to its transformation into a collective entrepre neurial dynamic?To address this question\, we draw on a qualitative case s tudy conducted in Wallonie picarde (Belgium)\, a sparsely populated sub-re gional territory characterized by limited academic anchorage and the absen ce of explicit entrepreneurial governance. Eight organisations were studie d through semistructured interviews supported by two boundary objects: a c o-constructed entrepreneurial mapping tool and a population health framewo rk (UWPHI) repurposed beyond its conventional use.Our findings revolve aro und two main elements. First\, a strong convergence of representations exi sts prior to its own recognition: twelve entrepreneurial development pathw ays were identified independently yet exhibit substantial overlap. To better understand how end users manipulate cubes as gestural input for  \;tangible inte raction on a surface\, we report empirical findings from a family of three experiments  \;conducted with AudioCubes\, a set of tangible cubes co ntaining wireless computers with built-in sound  \;and signal-generati ng and processing capabilities that sense their topology for four action t ypes on a  \;surface: positioning\, moving\, rotating\, and arranging. The first two experiments investigate the usability of AudioCubes through a controlled study with and without active training\, inside and outside a laboratory. The third experiment determines which gestures are spontaneo usly produced by end users in an uncontrolled study and how they articulat e these gestures by fingers.  \;Tangible cubes offer a usable and intu itive medium for gestural interaction. Participants consistently favored f ace-based interactions over edges and corners\, simpler one-to-one mapping s over complex multi-object procedures\, and physically stable arrangement s over precision-dependent gestures. Usable cube interfaces should priorit ize grasping\, pushing\, rotating\, and aligning through cube faces\, whil e minimizing reliance on corner-based or highly constrained actions. The a ctual composition of cubes covers only 32\\% of the theoretical space of 1 69 spatial compositions. Organizational narratives\, as “temporal\, discursive constructi ons that provide a means for individual\, social and organizational sensem aking and sense giving” (Vaara et al.\, 2016\, p. 3)\, are a powerful to ol to support the legitimacy of a sustainable venture through their perfor mative effects\, i.e. their capacity to bring upon the narrated future (Ga rud et al.\, 2014). \;But how do sustainable entrepreneurs come to env ision and narrate such futures? How do they deal with the multiplicity of actors and their diverse – sometime conflicting – visions of a desired future? The literature calls for in-depth study of the performative effec ts of entrepreneurial framing for the development of new meanings in the a nswer to the environmental crisis (Snihur et al.\, 2021). Some mechanisms of the performative process still need to be better understood. \;Thus \, the goal of this research is to better understand the way sustainable e ntrepreneurs narrate their desired future as well as the way it contribute s to performatively bring upon changes for them and their stakeholders. We study this performativity process longitudinally through a case study in the eco-construction sector. In order to study this phenomenon\, we build on the narrative perspective of entrepreneurial innovation by Garud et al. (2014) in which entrepreneurs contextualize innovation through their rela tional\, temporal and performative effort. We adopt the Entrepreneurship a s Practice (or EaP hereafter) lens\, focusing on the “doing” and “sa ying” of entrepreneurs and other members of their ecosystems (Champenois et al.\, 2020). \;In this context\, we will address the following que stions\, looking at several narrative complications and tools: How can sus tainable entrepreneurs legitimize their ventures through the co-constituti on of new meanings? How are narrative practices developed within sustainab le ventures? What is the role of artefacts in the performativity process o f entrepreneurial narratives across audiences?
