Neill Gustavo Bergamini Gomes is a doctoral candidate at a joint program between the CERDECAM-ECAM and UCLouvain. Graduated from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), after a year abroad at the University of Bristol in the program ¨Science without borders¨ enrolled in Master Level energy units. Obtained his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering focus in Energy at the School of Mechanical Engineering - FEM, in a joint program betweenGERDAU and UNICAMP to develop a burner for pyrolysis gases. After a year of experience volunteering and a year of experience in the LPG sector for the industry in Brazil, he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Combustion. Joined the TTCogen (Tar Tolerant Cogeneration) project aiming at the development, optimization, and long-duration testing of a direct syngas HCCI cogeneration from biomass gasification.
